An independent frontend consultancy, founded in 2021.

Azylume is a frontend engineering consultancy based in Romania, working remotely with teams across EU timezones. We build and rescue React and TypeScript products, and we’ve been doing so since November 2021.

Our focus today is the frontier between product UI and AI agents: agent collaboration interfaces, streamed responses, and OpenAPI/MCP connectors, alongside the classic work of architecture, design systems, performance and test reliability.

We keep engagements simple: a clear scope, direct access to the engineer doing the work, and handover that documents the system.

  • Owned the entire frontend codebase, building and maintaining React features for customer-facing and internal tools.
  • Worked with backend engineers and product managers to scope work, solve edge cases and deliver a smooth user experience.

  • Devised animation solutions for a new betting app using CSS3, HTML Canvas, transparent videos and finite state machines.

Azylume was founded by a principal-level frontend engineer with 14+ years in web development, 12+ in frontend: technical team leader at BT, and senior engineer at Connatix, Ezugi and Local Kitchens. Today the focus is building AI agent collaboration platforms.
